About the debate

BalloonDebate-BalloonsThe De Beauvoir Balloon Debate is a friendly and informal neighbourhood debate, three or four times a year, bringing together three insightful speakers and thought-provoking topics in one enjoyable evening.

We ask our audience: if you could save just one idea out of three in a hot air balloon – which would it be?

The evening, started by Pamela and Sarah in 2015, is hosted at the beautiful De Beauvoir Block in the heart of De Beauvoir, just north of Shoreditch.

Getting here: De Beauvoir Block, 92-96 De Beauvoir Road, London N1 4EN. Haggerston Overground, and five-minute walk. Alternatively, buses 243 and 149 (alight at Haggerston), or buses 21, 141 and 76 (alight at Northchurch Road).

Entry is free.
